On March 29th 2006 Mrs. Jessica Douglas-Home president of the Mihai Eminescu Trust, and Mr. Dorin Dăneşan Mayor of Sighişoara, signed with Mr. Dănuţ Ştefănescu Director of the Environment Protection Agency Mureş the convention through which the MET and the Local Council of Sighişoara took into custody the Breite Reserve for a 5-year period.
