Summer holiday on the Breite Plateau

In June-September 2010, the Mihai Eminescu Trust in partnership with the Town Hall and the Schools and High schools of Sighişoara organized a summer program in the Breite Reserve addressed to local children and youth.

In June, July and September three special days were dedicated to enjoying nature and arts on the plateau, and to developing the young ones’ passion and responsibility for the environment. The summer program involved over 250 children and youngsters, and included cultural and ecological activities such as: guided trips and games, marking touristic paths through the forest, unplugged folk recitals and outdoor theatre plays.
